I found some discussions similar to my problem below:
forums.adobe.com/thread/833016…forums.cgsociety.org/archive/i…And my exact problem is,
can I sample just "current layer" as using eyedropper in Corel Painter?(in fact, I'm more used to a quite old version devoloped by Macromedia)
Is there any plug-in for that? In Painter but not only in Photoshop?
I know it's not a problem in Photoshop anymore, but it's hard to adapt to a new program since I've colored my drawings in Painter for many years.
In painter the brush tracking is heavenly useful for presenting more impressible brush stokes, avoiding relying on any smearing tools, but more on simply "true" stokes.
Somehow, in order to improve my shading and displaying a more non-destructive painting process, I'm trying to draw a monochrome painting first and then color up in overlay of composite method. Which process may be widely adopted by Photoshop painters nowadays. And the problem appears that I cannot pick up the exact color by eyedropper, because of overlay causing mixings such as saturation and brightness with under layers. Now my painting speed is getting even slower and I'm groaning for any possibility of a solution.
I'm very sorry for no replying on comments for many days. Just getting crazy on messing up my colorings again and again and again
